Built so legal deadlines get acted on.

Matter Due is a small, independent UK company. We build one thing: a focused way for law firms to keep every important deadline visible, owned and acted on.

“I'm a software engineer and digital marketer based in London. I started Matter Due after seeing how hard it can be for a busy firm to see all of its deadlines in one place — who owns each one, what's due this week, and what's starting to slip.

I design and build Matter Due myself: the dashboard, the reminders and the office board. When you email us or send a WhatsApp message, I'm the one who reads it and replies — there's no sales team and no ticket queue in between.”

Why Matter Due exists.

Law firms already have systems for storing matters and deadlines, and many of them send reminders. What's harder is seeing every deadline across the firm at once — making sure each one stays visible, has a clear owner and gets acted on before it becomes urgent.

Matter Due doesn't try to replace your case-management system. It works alongside it as one shared, firm-wide view, with a manager told when something is still open.

Visible

On the office board and every caseworker's dashboard.

Owned

Every deadline has one named person responsible for it.

Acted on

Reminders as it approaches, and a manager told if it's still open.

Who it's for.

UK law firms that want deadlines handled the same way every time, without adding another big system.

Small and growing firms

Without a dedicated team chasing deadlines — so the system does the chasing.

Firms with a system already

Clio, LEAP or your own — Matter Due sits alongside it, with nothing to integrate.

Teams that share an office

One screen everyone can see, and reminders that reach each person directly.

What Matter Due deliberately doesn't do.

Keeping it focused is the point.

Replace your case system

Your matters stay where they are. Matter Due handles the deadlines.

Contact your clients

Reminders go only to your own team. Never to clients.

Charge per person

One price for the whole firm, however many caseworkers or screens.
